Man Failed To Return Car After Test Drive, JCSO Says

MICRO – Criminal charges have been filed against a man who reportedly failed to return a car from a test drive.

It happened May 21 at Flip Flop Auto Sales on US 301 in Micro. According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, Charles William Baker, age 50, of Batten Farm Road, Selma test drove a 2004 Ford van from the used car dealership but failed to return the vehicle.

Baker was located on May 22 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle and injury to property.
