Man Found Passed Out In Truck Facing Charges, JCSO Says

CLAYTON – A Smithfield man was arrested after deputies responded to a Johnston County convenience store. On Sunday, July 9th around 3:45pm, officers were dispatched to a convenience store in the 9000 block of Cleveland Road. Authorities said the caller reported a male appeared to be passed out inside a Ford Ranger pickup.
Deputies arrived and located the vehicle. They were able to awaken the individual in the truck, identified as Ronald Raymond Jensen, age 41, of Russ Road.
Inside the truck, officers reportedly found a small amount of suspected methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and a concealed 9mm handgun.
Jensen was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon. He was held under an $8,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.
