  1. My grandma used to live on that street when nice people lived there & on Walnut. I wonder who this hoodwink is living in this location as you don’t belong in Princeton NC aka formerly known as Pleasantville. Who is this imposter & why do we protect such a bad person’s name.

    • I missed the part in the story where they said the perp lives in Princeton. Where did you find that?
Hopefully, they were just passing through our county.

  2. They don’t live in Princeton. This was a road rage incident that happened near Princeton. The shooter drove away to Edwards street and surrendered. However if you think Princeton or any town is immune to crime you are mistaken. Even the nicest neighborhoods in flowers have crime, nice things attract criminals looking to steal. Big corporations have bought up many nice homes and rent them out to people, some who are getting subsidized housing benefits because the man works for cash, (dealing) and baby momma got 2 kids so raking in the benefits.

    • Not saying nothing ever happens, but that road rage shooting wasn’t tied to Princeton or any neighborhood—it was two random drivers and one made a bad decision.

The rest of this is getting exaggerated. There’s no solid data showing corporations have taken over Flowers Plantation, and there’s no evidence of a big Section 8 influx there either. Most homes are still owner-occupied or locally rented.

If you look at actual numbers, the trend doesn’t match the narrative:

      Property crime dropped from about 259 per 100k (2007) to 88 per 100k (2024)

Violent crime is still under 100 per 100k

Total major crimes are roughly 400–450 a year, even with population growth

So yeah, no place is immune—but it’s not some large-scale shift like it’s being made out to be in Johnston County.

      • It appears that others know more information than I do who shot who in the face the guy driving the pick up truck or the one driving the Impala? Because I’ve been looking up the story and I can’t find anybody’s name at all. AI said the person was shot in the neck.

  3. Wow, it’s a lot of flames being thrown out here without us knowing who the suspect is… maybe we should wait and see what actually happens since the police haven’t charged them with anything. Or we can continue to rage bait and make up fake stories to go along with our BS narratives…. just a thought!!! LOL

  4. The man who was shot was a company driver and what led to the road rage was the other guy cutting him off….one thing led to another when the person in the car and the driver came to a complete stop…it has nothing to do with crime rate or anything it was just a heated argument that turned into something that could have been fatal.and prevented
