A man stopped by officers Thursday night allegedly had methamphetamines concealed in his mouth.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division had been conducting an undercover investigation which led to the traffic stop near Four Oaks. Agents said 27 year-old Brice Nicholas Stanley, of the 4700 block of Highway 301 South had meth in his mouth when stopped by officers. The meth was seized. Needles and spoons were seized from a passenger.
Stanley was charged with possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver methamphetamines, resisting a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Johnston County Jail under a $52,000 bond.
Kelli Nicole Gay, 29, of the 1900 block of Massengill Pond Road, Angier was also charged during the traffic stop with possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $500.
