Two people are facing charges after a meth lab was found at a home over-the-weekend.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant Saturday at 1775 Old Smithfield Road and found an inactive meth lab and evidence consistent with methamphetamine production.
Andrew Douglas Best, 56, and Sabrina Blizzard Taylor, 35, both of 1775 Old Smithfield Road, Goldsboro were charged with manufacturing methamphetamines, possession of methamphetamines, and 6 counts each of possess-distribute methamphetamine precursors.
The SBI responded to the scene to cleanup and remove the hazardous chemicals from the site.
