Micro Community Center Now Available For Rentals, Expands Local Gathering Space
MICRO, N.C. – Residents now have a new place to gather, celebrate, and connect following the opening of the Town of Micro Community Center, a newly refurbished facility designed to serve as a central hub for local events and activities.

Located at 301 W. Main Street, the center officially opened its doors to the public and is now available for rental by individuals, families, nonprofits, and community organizations. Town officials say the goal was to create an accessible, welcoming space that meets a growing need for affordable event venues in the area.
The facility features a large main event hall along with accessible restrooms and a kitchen area. Rentals also include 10 eight-foot tables and 80 chairs, providing a ready-to-use setup for a wide range of gatherings.
The space is designed to accommodate events such as birthday parties, baby showers, family reunions, club meetings, and other community functions. Town leaders say flexibility and convenience were key priorities in planning the facility.

This center represents growth, opportunity, and the spirit of Micro. The idea for the community center stemmed from increasing demand for a local, affordable venue where residents could host events without traveling outside town limits. Officials believe the center will help strengthen neighborhood ties while encouraging more local gatherings.
In addition to private rentals, the town also hopes to use the facility to host community-wide events in the future, further expanding its role as a gathering place for residents.
Rental information is now available through the Town of Micro. Interested individuals can contact town staff at 919-284-2572 or visit www.townofmicro.com
for pricing, availability, and reservation details. A 10 percent discount is offered for nonprofits, active military members, and veterans.
