The Johnston County Board of Education recognized Corinth Holders High student Karlee Sanderford for being crowned Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen on April 14 in High Point, NC Sanderford,16, was previously crowned Miss Garner’s Outstanding Teen.
She competed in interview, talent, fitness, and evening gown/onstage question to earn the crown, a $5,000 cash scholarship, and an in-kind scholarship to High Point University. Her social impact platform is “Show The Love – Caring for Orphans Around the World.”
She will advance to the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition in Orlando this summer.
