Kate Peacock Has Local Ties
Kate Peacock, Miss North Carolina 2015, is currently in Atlantic City, New Jersey preparing for the Miss America Pageant.
Kate is the daughter of Penny and Gary Peacock and is from the Spivey’s Corner community. Her father, Gary, graduated from South Johnston High School.
Kate attends Meredith College, but is taking the year off to perform her duties as Miss North Carolina. Kate has many relatives from Johnston County.
While in Atlantic City, Miss Peacock will compete in evening wear, swim suit and fitness, and private interview. There will also be an on stage question and answer session. All those wishing to see the Miss America Pageant can watch it live on ABC on Sunday night, September 13th at 8:00pm.
