FOUR OAKS – Two people were injured in a rollover accident near Four Oaks. The crash was reported around 6:40pm Tuesday on Highway 96 South near Heath Road.
A mother and her young daughter were traveling northbound in a white SUV, on Highway 96 South, when a vehicle reportedly pulled from Heath Road into their path. To avoid striking the vehicle, they swerved off the roadway and overturned.
Their injuries were not serious.
The driver of the vehicle that reportedly pulled in front of them did not stop.
Four Oaks Fire, Johnston County EMS, and the State Highway Patrol responded.
Thank God their injuries were not serious. As far as the person who caused the accident, I hope the police find the person.
