SELMA – A multi-vehicle accident caused traffic delays for more than an hour, Friday afternoon. The collision was reported at the intersection of US 301 (Pollock Street) and US 70.
Authorities believe the accident may have been caused by a tractor trailer that made an improper lane change. The tractor trailer did not stop at the scene.
Several cars traveling eastbound collided at the intersection to avoid the merging tractor trailer. A westbound car that had stopped in a turn lane was also struck. A total of five vehicles appeared to have damage.
At least one person was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Selma Police are investigating the accident.
I hope the person that went to the hospital is ok and I hope they catch the SOB truck driver who turned so many lives upside down.
Let’s send the the bounty hunters after the truck driver who took off! Truck driver probably got to his destination and realized it was a really small dent on the back of the truck but didn’t give a crap and just thought it was nothing happening to it.
