WILSON”S MILLS – Westbound traffic on US Highway 70 was brought to a halt Tuesday morning as a result of a five vehicle collision in the westbound lanes near Wilson’s Mills.
The multi-vehicle accident was reported around 6:30am. At least five Johnston County EMS ambulances responded along with Wilson’s Mills Fire, Selma Fire, and Wilson’s Mills Police units.
No serious injuries were reported.
The roadway was reopened as soon as the wrecked vehicles could be towed away.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by Wilson’s Mills Police.
Wow, looking at these cars and trucks I have to say God was with these people that no one was seriously hurt. It sure seems like there is allot of accidents on this area of road.
