FOUR OAKS – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting at a Four Oaks area home. The incident was reported at 10:27pm Thursday, April 24 on Barnes Landing Drive, off NC Highway 210 near Lakewood Road.
Multiple shots were fired into a home. The gunfire damaged a window, vinyl siding, drywall, and the rear bumper to a car parked outside.
At least 17 shell casings were recovered at the scene.
One person inside the residence at the time of the shooting was not injured.
