Megan Mustgrave, a junior at Neuse Charter School in Smithfield, won first place All Around in the North Carolina High School Gymnastics State Championships with a score of 38.2. She also placed first on the floor. The event took place Jan. 21st at the Raleigh School of Gymnastics.
She has been taking gymnastics since the age of five at Morgan’s Gymnastics in Smithfield. She is also a level 10 gymnist.
Megan is the daughter of David and Tanya Mustgrave of Smithfield.
