The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce has named Nancy Cole the January Teacher of the Month recipient.
Nancy Cole was presented with a certificate of recognition as well as a bag of gifts from many of the Chamber member businesses.
South Johnston High School shared as part of this nomination, Albert Einstein wrote, “It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge”. Nancy Cole brings her enthusiasm and passion for teaching into the classroom to challenge and motivate her students. Her desire to help each child learn is evident in all that she does. She believes in her students and encourages them daily to do the very best they can do. Ms. Cole’s classroom is a vibrant and an inviting place to be. She is a very upbeat, funny and outgoing, teacher, who has a special bond with her students, and makes learning a wonderful and entertaining experience for all of them.
Each month, the Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce recognizes teachers who motivate and inspire their students through their teaching practices and their commitment to the community.
