Narcotics Agents Seize Meth, Weapons During Search Warrant

FOUR OAKS, N.C. — Two individuals were arrested and narcotics and firearms were seized during the execution of a Johnston County Sheriff’s Office search warrant.

On April 16, sheriff’s narcotics agents executed a search warrant at a residence in the 7000 block of Elevation Road. During the search, investigators reportedly located approximately 11.5 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, as well as a handgun and a 12-gauge shotgun.

Daniel Shane Stutts, 48, of Elevation Road, Four Oaks, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Sammy Lee Barrow, 60, of Oak Grove Church Road, Angier, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony probation violation.
