  1. I have a child incarcerated in the “new” Johnston Co. Jail and feel I deserve an explanation as to the Cause of this young lady’s death.

      • Dear sir, ma’am, does the statement, Innocent until proven guilty sound familiar to you? Is your family so perfect no-one has ever strayed? Does your heart feel no pain for this family? I don’t care if you are black, white, male, or female, and you have a right to your opinion, but I will say a prayer for you.

    • Kathy D Howell, I think your quotation marks are in the wrong places…let me help you.
Move your quotation marks from the word NEW to the word CHILD. Oh yes, this seems so much better.
Truth is the detention center is NEW.
But your “child” is not a CHILD.
Why are you so worried now? Where were you and how worried were you when your “child” was out commiting crimes? Oh, I see… you’re just waiting on a chance to sue somebody for something because that’s just how it is these days for criminals and their “so worried” families. Geez…..

      • Dear What Now…It is very fortunate that u have no children of your own or you would understand that your child is your child until the day they should unfortunately leave this world before me..

      • What Now? I’ll tell u what now!!! I am not bragging, but myself and my family, live comfortably, and definitely do not need nor want our fellow taxpayers hard earned money. I shall not even pretend to pick your brain as to where that subject came from. I am merely offering my condolences to a family that I know must be enduring unimaginable pain at this time..Amen..

    • 100% neglect in my opinion. Keep your kid safe somehow. If he/she is on any medications, I would be calling there everyday at the given times the medication should be administered and push to make sure they are giving whoever their meds correctly. My mom wouldn’t have died if she was cared for in this place.

      • My dear Chelsie, I am so thankful you answered. It gives me the opportunity to tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your mother. I was actually told that she was a Sweet Person who would help others if she could. It is unforgivable that the people she had to depend on were not there when she needed them. You and your family have my name if there is anything I can do. Kelly was a beautiful woman..

    • That’s crazy I didn’t realize your bad parenting entitled you to information that doesn’t have anything to do with you or your adult children.

    • This was my mother. I don’t have much to say but I will say this – my mother was already in stage 4 kidney failure. My mother was working on beating her case for YEARS. Over a simple traffic court case. She was sent in with all her medications and I’m almost certain this jail did not give her the appropriate meds on time as needed. My mom was beautiful and so was her soul. She wasn’t perfect but she sure did try to do whatever she could for everyone around her. I will get her the justice she deserves.

  2. I’m commenting yet AGAIN. My comment wasn’t published. LET ME TELL YOU, MY MOTHER WAS MISTREATED!!!!!!!! It’s so crazy that I can share on here what my mom was most likely going through and they didn’t approve my comment. My mother went into this new jail 7 days ago already in stage 4 kidney failure and super high BP. She went in with all her medications that she needed and I am 98% sure my mom was NOT receiving these medications at the appropriate times as needed. I’m 100% certain this jail killed my mother and I will get the justice she deserves. I will continue to comment and share everywhere until somebody hears me!!!!

  3. This lady was definitely mistreated and was not receiving the medications that she went into this jail with. Kelly was on BP medicine as her BP was always so high the doctors said she was a walking time bomb without her medication. Kelly was also in stage 4 kidney failure BUT was on the appropriate medication at home and her kidney function had improved by 5% within the first month, so tell me why 1 week into this “new jail” and she’s dead? Something is right. This family deserves justice!!

  4. Keep posting, Chelsie, I’ve had 3 comments deleted so far. Simply means something is being covered up..I love you and my heart goes out to you and your family..You should not have to be going thru this..

  5. Everytime Whoever is deleting our comments, we will post two more. What are you all hiding. Condolences to Chelsie and her family..

  6. Kathy Howell, one of your latest comments on here states you “are merely offering your condolences”. Well, honey that is WAYYYY different than your very first comment. Your very first comment stated you felt you needed to know what happened to THIS young lady because you had a child in the detention center. Now, you change up and say you are offering condolences. Ok, whatever….

Let me help you…. THIS is not the 1sr rodeo for this lady. She has many many arrests. So now everyone wants to say the staff were not taking care of her or giving her the medication she needed.

Sadly, it appears she didn’t care about her own health. She chose drugs/alcohol. She made those choices. Noone but her. These substances have health consequences.
These substances can cause all kinds of body system harm including the kidneys. I don’t believe her being incarcerated had anything to do with her death. Looks like this was all in the making.inevitable due to poor choices.

And yes, darling I have children. Very successful children. Apparently I raised mine differently than you did. Thank God. My family is highly blessed. Take care hun.

    • This lady was sick when she came to the jail. So get off the getting justice for someone who had no self care for herself. You cannot use fentanyl as a substitute for doctors medicine. She was getting the attention she needed just as everyone else that’s in jail. Why come y’all want making her go to get dialysis treatment? But you cared. When it’s your time you can’t duck God . All of us have a day and unfortunately that was her time it just happened to be in jail. The people have so much to say go pick up an application since you got all the correct answers. Keep it real and honest

  7. That’s why you see all these people with negative things to say so scary to leave their real names. Stop playing with my family. Lol
