SELMA – A victim of a recent theft called the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office after allegedly spotting his stolen toolbox in his neighbor’s yard. On May 8th, the victim noticed a $300 tool box had been stolen off his truck. A short time later he saw it in his neighbor’s yard and called deputies.
Authorities responded and arrested Steven Tyler Wolfe, 18, of Homestead Drive, Selma.
Wolfe was linked to the May 8th toolbox theft and a second larceny from the same victim on April 27th where a $100 Craftsman tool kit was stolen. Wolfe was also charged with the April 27th theft of $400 in cash taken from another neighbor’s vehicle.
Wolfe was confined in the Johnston County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond charged with three felony counts of breaking and entering motor vehicles, one count of larceny, and one count of possession of stolen property.
