New Member Appointed To Johnston County ABC Board

SMITHFIELD – The Johnston County Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board welcomed a new member to its team. On November 7, Callie Collins Rhyne was officially sworn in by Johnston County Clerk of Court Michelle Ball during a brief ceremony in Smithfield.

Attending the Oath of Office ceremony were Craig Williams, Chairman of the Johnston County ABC Board; Shannon Capps, General Manager; and Jeff Carver, former board member.

The Johnston County ABC Board operates as a self-supporting entity, independent from the County of Johnston, overseeing the control and distribution of alcoholic beverages within the county in accordance with North Carolina law.
