Angela Reneé “Angie” Narron, age 53, passed away January 16, 2022 at her home. Born September 10, 1968 in Johnston County she was a daughter of Freddy and Linda Jones Narron of Middlesex. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beth Ann Narron.
Angie was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church in Middlesex, where she taught Sunday school, sang with the Praise Team as well as played piano. Angie graduated from Smithfield Selma High School in 1986. She then completed 4 years of undergraduate at Duke University, where she enjoyed many basketball games and became a lifelong Cameron Crazie. 3 years later, she graduated from law school at UNC-Chapel Hill. She began practicing law at Warren & Perry in Wake Forest, where she later made partner. After over a decade in Wake Forest, she opened her own practice in downtown Smithfield, where she continued her passion for child advocacy. She took every case personally and put her whole heart in them.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Shugart officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are her parents, Freddy and Linda Jones Narron; sisters, Mandy Fry and Ashley Webster and husband Adam; nieces, Riley Fry and Charlotte Webster, all of Middlesex.
