Angela Massengill Faulk

Angela “Angie” Massengill Faulk, 65, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Born April 9, 1960, in Wayne County, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Jean Massengill. Angela was a longtime member of Tee’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, where she had a deep passion for Bible study and her faith.

Angela devoted her entire career to the State of North Carolina, working in the Human Resources department, retiring as the director. She loved animals, especially her dogs, and cherished spending time with her friends going out for breakfast and lunch. One of her favorite places was the beach, where she enjoyed relaxing and making memories.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. A private burial will follow the service.

Angela is survived by her loving husband, George Faulk; her sister, Renee Wiggs and husband Gary of Smithfield; her nephew, Daniel Oliver and wife Stephanie of Smithfield; and her great-nephews, Luke and James.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tee’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 6439 Brogden Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
