Smithfield, NC: Mrs. April Ennis Hansley, age 56, of Packing Plant Road, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Duke University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held-3:00PM Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Lees Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn. Officiating will be Revs. Randy Beasley and Keith Bonner. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens in Dunn.
Mrs. Hansley was born on March 26, 1966 in Harnett County to Larry Austin Ennis and Linda Parnell. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William L. and Gertrude Parnell and Richard Austin and Lestine Ennis. Mrs. Hansley worked in hospice supervision and was a member at Lees Grove PFWB Church. She was a loving wife, daughter, and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Hansley; mother, Linda Parnell; father, Larry Ennis and wife, Denise; step-sons, Kasey Cartrette and Bradley Hansley; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends prior to the service in the church fellowship hall from 2:00PM to 2:45PM.
