Angier, NC: Mr. Bobby Ray Pleasant, Sr., age 84, of Clayton Road passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. There will be no services at this time.
Mr. Pleasant was born on December 11, 1938 in Johnston County to the late Eddie Lawrence and Lela Mae Stephenson Pleasant. He was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers. Mr. Pleasant retired as a bus driver for Capital Area Transit.
Surviving includes his wife of 54 years, Grace S. Pleasant; children, Paula Avery and husband, Henley of Angier, Bobby Ray Pleasant, Jr. and wife, Miriam of Angier; grandchildren, Travis Avery and wife, Michelle, Kameron Knowles and husband, Bobby, Bobby Ray Pleasant, III; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Ann Pleasant of Clayton; several nieces and nephews.
