North Chesterfield, VA: Mr. Carl Bryant Norris, age 77, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at his residence. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier, NC.
Mr. Norris was born on October 22, 1946 in Johnston County, NC to the late Joseph Andrew Norris and Maggie Langdon Norris. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew Norris and Stacy Norris. Mr. Norris was a retired machinist, retiring from Molins, and IR Engraving in Richmond VA where he lived most of his adult life working and raising his children. He enjoyed the UNC Tarheels, sports, music, golf and nature watching.
Survivors include his sons, Jan Carl Norris and wife, Jin of Atlanta, GA, and Ron Christopher Norris and wife, Amy of Wendell, NC; grandchildren, Sara Norris, Anna Norris, Lois Norris, Langdon Norris, Lance Norris, and Kevin Bowles, II, sister, Betty Jo Young and husband, Ricky; brother, Larry Norris and wife, Carolyn; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:45AM-10:45AM, Saturday, January 13, 2024 prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
