Mr. Charles Howard Blackman of Halifax, VA passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Berry Hill Health and Rehab. He was born June 8, 1939 in Johnston County, NC and was 82 years old. He was the son of the late John A. Blackman and the late Mettie Clifton Blackman and was married to the late Marjorie L.B. Blackman.
He was a self -employed retired carpenter and an avid motorcyclist.
Mr. Charles Howard Blackman is survived by two sons, Charles A. Blackman and wife Wanda of Four Oaks, NC., Michael O. Blackman and wife Marsha of Benson, NC; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, John A. Blackman; two Brothers, John O. and James C. Blackman; one sister, Mary Blake.
A memorial service will be held a later date.
