The family will receive friends from 12:30PM-1:45PM, on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Jerry Waters will officiate. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield, NC.

Mr. Knowles was born on April 9, 1945 in Sampson County, NC, to the late Aaron Allen Knowles and Gladys Warrick Knowles. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Knowles. Mr. Knowles was a retired electrical supervisor with Watson Electrical, retiring with over 30 years of service. He loved God, building things, and spending time with his family. Mr. Knowles will be remembered for being kind and friendly to other people. He was a member of Smithfield Church of God in Smithfield, NC.

Survivors include his children, Linda Faye Langston, and husband, Kirk, Elaine Knowles Mozingo, and husband, Timothy, Lorie Knowles, and Matthew Spence; grandchildren, Billy Lee and wife, Felicia, Georgia Walston and husband, Trent, Sidney Langston, Justin Quinn and fiancée, Ari, Erin Lindsay Mozingo and Chase, Jacob Jernigan, Johnathan Jernigan, and Jenna Kelly and husband, Logan; ten great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren on the way; sister, Annie Lou Jones and husband, Tom, and brother, Junior Knowles and wife, Sarah; many nieces and nephews.
