Selma – Connie Edwards Pilkington, 70, passed away Sept. 17, 2022 at Wake Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Johnston County she was the daughter of the late David and Edna Barbour Edwards.
Connie worked for Bayer and then Grifols Pharmaceuticals and was lucky enough to travel the world while doing her job.
There will be a Graveside Service at 10 AM Wednesday Sept. 21, 2022 at Selma Memorial Gardens officiated by Pastor Duane Evans.
Connie is survived by her husband of 51 years, John “Milo” Pilkington; daughters, Lindsay Bass and Vanessa Batts and husband Justin; sister, Ann Creech and husband Kenneth; granddaughter, Evelyn Batts; nieces and nephews, Ken Creech, Clay Creech, Brook Creech and Alison Creech and her special dog Pilk.
