Dana was a bright light whose sparkling smile and quick sense of humor touched everyone she met.

Dana Marie Massello passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. She was born on August 4, 1977, in Yonkers, New York, and later moved with her parents, Sandi and the late Dominic Massello, to Kenly, North Carolina, where she grew deep roots and formed many lasting friendships. Dana was loved by so many throughout her life and to know her was to love her! In addition to her father, Dana is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Claudia Guzzo, and Bill and Rose Massello.

A vibrant and energetic soul, Dana found joy in creative expression. She loved writing poetry, cooking, listening to music, and especially dancing—she was an incredible dancer. When she danced like Michael Jackson, she danced even better than MJ himself. Her heart was big, her love was fierce, and her loyalty as a friend was unmatched.

Dana is survived by her mother, Sandi Massello; and two beloved sons, Dominic Massello and Colt Paul. Dana’s light will continue to shine through them, the memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home, with some special memories being shared at 7:30pm. Flowers are welcome. Online condolences can be made at www.parrishfh.com.
