Four Oaks, NC: Mr. David Earl Massengill, age 60, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel, Four Oaks, NC. Pastor Danny Blasky and Mr. Johnny Beasley will officiate. Burial will follow in Faith Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC.
Mr. Massengill was born on July 25, 1961 in Wake County, NC to the late James Earl Massengill and Betty Lou Beasley. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie Rufus and Madie Allen Massengill. Mr. Massengill was the owner and operator of David E. Massengill Construction, INC and Lakeside Utilities. He also enjoyed hunting and farming.
Surviving include his wife, Kristie Hayes Massengill; children, Brody Massengill and wife, Mary Beth, Gage Massengill and special friend, Reagan Byrd, Kaitlin Kennedy and fiancé, AJ Strickland, and Payton Kennedy and special friend, Kyleigh Capps; granddaughter, Libby Massengill; step-mother, Mary Lynn Massengill, brother, John D. Massengill and a sister, Karen Johnson; nephews, Tripp Massengill and Gray Johnson; niece, McKinley Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6:00-PM to 8:00-PM at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC and other times at the home.
