Debra Alice Montague, 70, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Goldsboro, NC on January 25, 2024 to Bob and Nan Montague.

In more recent years, Debbie lived Down East, where she found many hours of peace and happiness being near the coast, before moving to Princeton, NC.

She approached the disease with humor and grace, and she always strived to hold onto the qualities that were central to her character.

At her side throughout her journey was her fiancé’, Chuck Price. Chuck was committed to Debbie’s care, and the family is very grateful to him for his devotion. He unselfishly gave her the gifts of love, laughter, support and caregiving through the years and up until the moment Debbie slipped from the bonds of Earth.
