Selma – Donna Jo Johnson Edmonds, age 49, passed away Thursday May 11, 2023 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. She was born in Johnston County on September 19, 1973 to Donnie Johnson and the late Jo Ann Fulford Johnson.
The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Monday May 15, 2023 from 1 PM to 2 PM.
A funeral service will follow the visitation on Monday at 2 PM with the Rev. Andy Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow the service in Johnson Family Cemetery.
Donna is survived by husband of 28 years, David Edmonds of Selma; daughter, Ashley Edmonds of Selma; father, Donnie Johnson and wife Sherri; brother Scottie Johnson and fiancé Amanda of Kenly; several nieces and nephews; fur baby, “Baby”.
Donna loved going to the beach and having visitors over. She loved her dog “Baby” and was like a mother to many people in the community.
The family will receive visitors at other times at the home of Scottie Johnson at 971 Bagley Rd in Kenly.
