Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Edith Rhodes Beetem, age 90, of Shaw’s Pond Road passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Graveside Services will be 2:00PM Tuesday. March 29, 2022 at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Chaplain Todd Higginson.
Mrs. Beetem was born on September 24, 1931 in Johnston County, NC to the late John Robert and Edith Powell Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Beetem; and five brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Beetem was a homemaker, but her passion in life was to care for her family.
Surviving include her children, Deborah Roberson of Durham, David Blake of Four Oaks, Donna Carroll of Four Oaks, Daniel Blake of Four Oaks, and Dianne Wilkerson of Hillsborough; seven grandsons; one granddaughter; seven great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Beetem will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 9:00AM to 12:00PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 prior to the graveside service.
