Benson: Ms. Edna Barefoot Marshall, age 95, of Carolyn Drive died Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Harnett Woods Nursing Home in Dunn. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Monday, March 11, 2024, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Officiating will be the Rev. Billy Nowell. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Benson.
Ms. Marshall was born February 28, 1929, in Cumberland County to the late George Barefoot and Alma Mae Moore Barefoot. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William T. Marshall; sons, Donnie and Bobby Salmon. Ms. Marshall was a child care provider most of her life and was known as Grandma to many.
Surviving is her daughters-in-law, Diane and June Salmon; grandchildren, Renee Duquette and husband, Barry, Deanna Salmon, Denise Norris, Allen Salmon and wife, Jamie, and Kristin Salmon; great grandchildren, Dylan Duquette, Skylar Duquette, Destiny Salmon, Brittany McLamb and husband, Tracey, and Jennifer Norris; great great grandchildren, Alaya and Bentley Parsons, Kaydee and Abigail Willis, Waylon Holmes and Grayson Benson; along with several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 10:00AM to 10:45AM Monday, March 11, 2024 prior to the service.
