Selma – Evelyn Perry Creech, age 90, passed away December 21, 2021 at her home in Selma. She was born in Wake County on November 30, 1931 to the late CC Perry and Ila Mae Perry. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by husband, Harold “Doodle” Creech; a brother, a sister and a Great grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted in Fairview Church Cemetery on Monday December 27, 2021 at 2 PM with Pastor Robert Owens officiating.
Mrs. Creech is survived by son, Paul K. Creech of Selma; daughter, Gloria Batkoski and husband Edward of Selma; sister, Linda Minnick of Clayton; grandchildren, Wesley and Johnathan; great grandchildren, Nick, Noah, Timothy, Alaina and Addy; special care giver, Kathy Durham.
Mrs. Creech enjoyed being outside and working in her garden.
