Gary Mitchell Lee, 71, of Dunn, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 5 from 11:00am-12:00pm at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove, NC. Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, also at West & Dunn Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Lee-Johnson Cemetery in Dunn, NC.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lee, Jr.; a brother, Kenneth Lee; his maternal grandparents, Paulie and Nancy Brown; and his paternal grandparents, Robert E. and Lula Lee, Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Brown Lee of the home; his brothers, Robert Sherrill Lee and James Lloyd Lee, also of the home; and many cousins. He is also survived by special family friend and caregiver, Deborah Underwood.
Gary was a very loving and caring person who always loved to make new friends. He loved to look at farm equipment, whether it was actual tractors, combines, spreaders, etc. or pictures of them in magazines. And, he loved his Pepsi-Colas!
