Jerome Morris was born on May 16, 1966, in Wake County to Fred Morris, Jr. and Lenora Pender Morris. He was the third child of their children.
Gregory was educated in Wake County public schools and graduated from Sanderson High School. After graduation, he signed up for a life of service in the Marines for four years and received an honorable discharge. After leaving the Military Gregory worked several jobs, he loved driving 18-wheeler trucks his favorite job was driving for Melvin’s Towing Company in Raleigh, NC for many years, he enjoyed the friendship he had with the Melvin family.
Gregory was married to Valentina Pollock to this union a baby girl was born, Gabrielle Morris, who was his heart, he loved and cherished his daughter until the end. Gregory later became ill with M.S. and had to be placed in a family group home. He was in a Private Health Care Home, where he was very happy until his demise. He loved all sports, his favorite team was the Red Skins. We are honoring his wishes to wear that color today.
He joined Smith Temple FWB Church at an early age and later joined First Trinity FWBC. He was a faithful member until his health failed. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his parents, Elder Fred and Mother Lenora P. Morris, his daughter Gabrielle Morris, 4 (four) sisters Terry M. Richardson (Stanley Richardson), Loretta M. White, Gwendolyn M. Davis (Nathan Davis), Monica M. Smith (Paul Smith), several Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friend
