Mr. Homer Elwood Jackson age 83, of Eldridge Road, Newton Grove passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at the SECU Hospice House. His funeral service will be held Saturday, October 21st at Unity Presbyterian Church, Newton Grove beginning at 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest in the Church Cemetery.
Homer loved to fish, especially cat fishing, Nascar, a Dale Earnhart Fan. Most every morning he would be at the BP in Newton Grove talking and jabbering. Most of all he was a loving father, grandfather and was greatly loved. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ruby James and Eunice Mae Jackson. His loving wife: Mary Lou Jackson, son: Bryan Jackson and his sister: Margie Burgess.
Left to cherish his fond memories are his daughter: Hope Jackson Peterson of Benson, grandson: Justin Peterson of Newton Grove and his granddaughters: Nicole Peterson of Benson and Brooke Jackson of Grantham.
