Four Oaks, NC: Mr. James Victor Halliwell, age 67, of Harper House Road passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at his residence. Graveside Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held 11:30AM Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Mill Creek Christian Church Cemetery in Bentonville, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Jessica Braxton. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Halliwell was born on September 24, 1955 in West Virginia to the late William and Virginia Halliwell. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy DeLoach and Karra Kay Willis, and a brother, Brian Miller. Mr. Halliwell worked for nearly 50 years with Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro as a civil engineer.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Elizabeth Britt-Halliwell; children, Karra Kay Hester (Jason), Tammy Lynn Halliwell; grandchildren, Ruth Hester, Liam Hester, Kayla Dominguez, and Joshua Halliwell; and a brother, Bobby Scherr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mill Creek Christian Church, 747 Mill Creek Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
