Jayla Romani Martinez was born and passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2023 to loving parents Jose Rivas and Janet Martinez of Selma.
A funeral mass will be conducted at St. Ann Catholic Church in Clayton on Friday June 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow the mass on Friday at 3 PM at Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día Hispana de Smithfield / Smithfield Hispanic Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Burial will follow the service in Selma Memorial Gardens at 5:30 PM on Friday.
In addition to her parents, Jayla is survived by her brother, Jose Rivas Martinez of the home; sister, Ashley Rivas of the home; maternal grandparents, Juan and Rosalva Martinez of Selma; paternal grandparents, Jenny Mendez and Roberto Rivas of Selma; many aunts and uncles.
