Angier, NC: Mr. John Paul Lee, age 81, of Zack’s Mill Road, passed away on March 23, 2022. Graveside Funeral Service will be held 3:00PM-Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Lee Family Cemetery off of Marler Road in Benson, NC. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie White.
Mr. Lee was born on March 15, 1941 in Johnston County to the late Chester and Gladys Godwin Lee. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha “Glendon” Lee Strickland. He was a lifelong farmer of various crops and a loving uncle.
Surviving include his nephew, John Strickland and fiancé, Jenny Sistrunk of Angier; niece, Melinda Strickland of Angier; and great nephew, Nathan Strickland.
The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 1:30p.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service.
