Benson, NC: Mr. Joshua Gerald Clifton, age 37, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Funeral Services will be 3:30PM Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Overflow Church 8280 NC HWY 50 N. Angier, NC 27501. Rev. R.B. Parrish, Rev. Rhonda Hamilton, and Rev. Chris Searles will officiate. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Church Cemetery at Overflow Church.
Joshua was born on June 18, 1985 in Wake County, NC. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fran and Ben Morey and Gerald Albert Clifton. Joshua was a distributor with Pepperidge Farm Products. He was a do-it-yourself person, and was loved by his family.
Survivors include his father, Gerald Garland Clifton of Benson, NC; his mother, Christine Ann Morey Clifton of New York; sister, Christy McLamb and husband, Louis; grandmother, Eloise Clifton; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00PM-3:15PM Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Overflow Church, and other times at the home of Eloise Clifton 30 B.H. Parrish Road, Benson, NC 27504.
