Judith Carol Munden

Judith Carol Munden, age 85, of Four Oaks, North Carolina, passed away on February 28, 2026.
Born on August 28, 1940, in Clayton, North Carolina, Judith, known affectionately to family and friends as Judy, lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Everette and Myrtie Mae Wheeler, and by her lifelong best friend Pat.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Jim; her children, Eddie, Denise, and Michael, and daughter-in-law Jackie; her granddaughter Jenna and her husband Josh; her great-grandchildren Joshua and Juliette; and her beloved dog, Katie.

A devoted member of Faith Community Church, Judy was a woman of deep faith and a true prayer warrior. She was an avid reader, a wonderful cook, and someone who always tried to find the best in everyone she encountered. Those who knew her well will remember her dry, understated wit and the gentle humor that often caught people by surprise.

Judy’s presence was steady and reassuring, and her love for her family was constant. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and grace that will continue to guide those who loved her.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks.

Judy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, her church community, and all who were blessed to know her.
