Mrs. Katherine Dorman Ennis, age 78, of 8664 NC Hwy 27 E., passed away on December 25, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM-Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Coats, NC. Officiating will be Pastor Jonathan Cooke. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Ennis was born on February 9, 1943 in Harnett County to the late William “Willie” Franklin Dorman, Sr and Murial Buffkin Dorman. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters, Connie Dorman Ennis and Ethel Dorman Barbour and brother, William Franklin Dorman, Jr. Mrs. Ennis retired after 33 years from the Campbell College Business Office as Assistant Treasurer. She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Coats, NC.
Surviving include her husband, John Alvis Ennis, Jr; son, Jonathan Todd Ennis and wife, Kimberly; grandchildren, Jonathan Lynn Ennis and Jennifer Kaitlyn Ennis Keller.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
