Kathy House Stephenson, 74, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. She was born in Johnston County, March 11, 1948 to Claudia Laland House and the late Evelyn Capps House.
She was a member of Selma Baptist Church. Kathy was a pediatric nurse for over 40 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and caregiver. She loved her time spent at the beach.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2022 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery in Pine Level. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday just prior to the service at the funeral home.
Surviving are her father, Laland House; husband of 54 years, Linwood Stephenson; sons, Scott Stephenson and wife Wandy and Craig Stephenson; sister, Vickie Fleming; grandchildren, Lauren Stephenson, Gabrielle Stephenson, Whitley Stephenson and Colin Stephenson; and great grandson, Santana Peterson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Selma Baptist Church, 1500 N. Webb Street, Selma, NC 27576.
