Laura “Nita” Jones Hill, 63, of Princeton passed away at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, N.C., on Saturday November 23, 2024. She was born June 23, 1961 in Johnston County to the late Walter Earl Jones and Janice Juanita Eason Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rowdy Stevenson “Shot” Hill and her brother, Ronald Earl Jones.
“Nita” welcomed everyone with open arms. She loved the Lord. She also loved road trips and adventures, especially to the beach fishing. She loved her dog, Buddy, but most of all loving her family was the most important thing to her.
She is survived by her brother, Donald Jones, Princeton, N. C.; sister, Susan Britt (James) Vandemere, N.C.; Nieces, Melissa Dawn Holland (Chad), Kristen Leigh Eatmon (Patrick); Great Nephew, Nolan Lee Eatmon; Sister in Law, Samantha Jones; Step Sons, Rowdy Hill, Luke Hill, Moe Tate, Justin Hunnings; Step Daughters, Sherry Jo Hill, Tonia Pate.
The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
