Gloria Grace Jones Harriman, 72, of Benson, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

Gloria was born to the late Ruth and Francis Jones on March 25, 1952, in Piscataquis County, Maine. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Jones. Gloria was a member of Rebekah’s. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Howell (Marshall) of Benson; sons, Billy Rumery (Penny) of Oregon and Kirk Jones of Maine; siblings, Bobbie Jean Crockett (Jimmy) and Dave Jones (Helen); grandchildren, Justin Ames (Kate), Caleb Hill (Melissa), Connor Hill (Adri), Justin Howell, Lily Howell, Collins Jones and Gareth Jones; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Lexi, Bailey, Carter, Zoe, Nola, Kayslee and Hazel; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are planned in Maine in the summer of 2025.
