Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Linda Hargis Creech, age 80, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM-Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Montlawn Memorial Park 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. Rev. Rodney Raby will officiate.
Mrs. Creech was born on December 4, 1942 in Johnston County, NC to the late William and Inez Stanley Hargis Pace. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Hargis. Mrs. Creech was a retired secretary with Carolina Cotton Growers Cooperative. She loved her family, shopping and decorating for every season of the year.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Wade Eugene “Gene” Creech; sons, Steven D. Rogers and wife, Johanna; and Jimmy Creech; daughter, Tamera Sergent and husband Dean; grandchildren, Rachel Hohlefelder, Deana Smith, and Evan Rogers; great-grandchildren, Christian Barbour, Hannah Smith, Preston Smith, and Asher Smith; sister, Shelia Brown.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC, and other times at the home.
