Lois Anne Stohr, 84, of Smithfield, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2025. She was born on February 11, 1941, to the late Harold and Anne Austin. Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Lamberton; her second husband, John Stohr; and her sister, Linda Smith.

Throughout her life, Lois was devoted to her family, and she was always a caring and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She was a long-time member of Obi Community Church in New York, where she found strength and peace in her faith. Later in life, Lois discovered a passion for quilting, a hobby that brought her joy and allowed her to create beautiful pieces for her loved ones.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Anne Marie Minshew (Kevin) and Susan Kay Hina (Howard); son, Bruce Lamberton (Amber); grandchildren, Christopher Lawton, Nancy Lawton, Tyler Struble, Taylor Struble, Zachary Lamberton, Skyler Lamberton, and Dylan Lamberton; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Parker, Magnolia Struble, Antonio Bennett, and Alanis Jones. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen Wagoner, Phyllis Krickovitch, and Jeanne Inzana; and her brothers, Walt Austin, Ken Austin, Gary Austin, Jeff Austin, and John Austin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in New York, where Lois will be remembered by those who knew her for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to family.
