Margaret Norris Owens, 81, of Dunn passed away on February 4, 2025 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital.
Margaret was born in Harnett County to the late Eugene Troy Norris and Mary West Norris.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Leo Norris, Earl Norris and Margie Pope; children, Sandra Dennis, Timmy Pennewill, and Thomas Jones Pennewill, Jr.; grandchildren,
She is survived and loved by her daughters, Janet Faircloth (Timmy) of Erwin, Pat Jackson and (David) of Coats, and Amy Owens of Erwin; grandchildren, Jennifer Avery of Erwin, Christey Kirk (Greg) of Hickory, Scott Pope (Luna) of Coats, Ashley Sherman of Erwin, Donna Smith (Michael) of Lillington, Derek Dennis of Erwin, Tyler Dennis (Kassidy) of Erwin, Jonathan Miller of Erwin, AJ Brewer of Erwin, Kendall Pennewill, Jace Pennewill and Jackson Pennewill all of Meadow, sisters, Betty Pope and Ann Tyndall both of Erwin; son in law, Rudy Dennis; and daughter in law, Darlene Pennewill. She is also loved by twenty-two great grandchildren and her best friend and sister, Magdalene.
Margaret enjoyed riding the roads, going to yard sales, going thrift shopping and her morning coffee with her best friend.
She was a special woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin on Saturday, February 8, 2025 with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM.
Margaret will be laid to rest at Erwin Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Dunn Funeral Home to offset funeral costs are welcome.
