Before retiring, Maude worked at Data General and Whitesburg. She loved the Lord and enjoyed life’s simple joys, reading her Bible and listening to gospel music. She loved fishing but better yet she loved eating them. At times you could also find her spending time at Bojangles with family and friends enjoying food and fellowship. Additionally, she enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and word searches. She was a woman of quiet strength and enduring grace who poured herself into caring for others, whether through a meal, a helping hand, or a whispered prayer. She was a vibrant soul who touched the lives many with her warmth and kindness. Above all, she treasured spending time with her beloved family.
Though she will be dearly missed, we take comfort in knowing that she is now resting peacefully in the presence of her Lord. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.
