Selma – Michael Wayne (Koncrete) Wilkins, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in Selma. Born, March 13, 1967, in Norfolk, Virginia, he was a son of the late Joe Joe Wilkins and Barbara Poole Wilkins. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Brianna Wilkins and sister, Bonnie Wilkins.
Michael was a hardworking and honest man. He worked the majority of his life in the concrete business, where he truly found his trade. Michael also enjoyed playing sports in his younger years, pitching baseball. He was an avid fan of boxing and the Dallas Cowboys. Most importantly he loved his family, his boys and his grandkids. They were his whole life. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. The family request casual attire for all who attend, just as he would prefer.
He is survived by his sons; Chad Wilkins (Lauren) of Mebane, Jeremy Wilkins (Amber) of Kenly, Jeffrey Wilkins (Carly Johnson) of Kenly, siblings; Ronald Wilkins (Renee) of Garner, Rhonda Wilkins of Selma, Melody Wilkins of Clayton, grandchildren; Braylen Wilkins Brielle, Wilkins and Jace Wilkins, fiancée Tracy Johnson (son, Jarrett Wells) as well as a niece and many nephews.
